Dear Sister Travers...........You are hereby called to serve as a Missionary of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
You are assigned to labour in the Australia Adelaide Mission.
It is anticipated you will serve for a period of 18 months.
After a mix up with Australia Post and the letter being delivered to the wrong address, Lisa's Mission Call finally arrived in Devonport on Tuesday, 7th January.
A family dinner and skyping with other family members (except Elder Ryan Travers) was organised and everyone sat around excitedly as Lisa opened her call. It was an emotional moment when she realised that she would be serving in the same mission as her father, Terry Travers, did in December 1977-1979.
This mission covers a huge area including South Australia, a small part of Victoria, a small part of Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
On 27th February, 2014, Lisa will report to the Missionary Training College in New Zealand.

I know that Lisa will be an awesome missionary and, along with those other members of the Travers Family who have served as missionaries, she will Return With Honour.
Very exciting and we get to see Lisa .... well not all of the time, but hopefully some of the time.
